Dear Democrats,
Looks like the campaign season has taken off! One list I saw today has seven Democrats running for Texas governor, and that is before any of the heavyweights has thrown their hat into the ring. Just a reminder, this newsletter and our various social media platforms are official communications of the Nacogdoches County Democratic Party. As such we will not use them to denigrate any Democratic candidate. Through the Primary we will support all the Democratic candidates who ask for our help and not endorse any who have a Democratic opponent. After the Primary we will do our best to get every Democrat elected – that is our mission. Outside of these sites, of course, we are free to make our feelings known – and we should do so loud and clear.
Upcoming events in the next few weeks

The No Kings Team, led by Indivisible and the 50501 group, is planning a “Good Trouble Lives On” rally, a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people. Let’s join them again!
